Alonzo Isauro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Marcelo Gaizko came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Central Ferroviario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Gaizko couldn't finish the play. Arturo Firman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alonzo Isauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iguana FC's Serafino Argi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Iguana FC from getting a goal against them. Aquilino Giro might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Isauro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquilino Giro ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcelo Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Argi having to interfere. After some careless play in the Iguana FC defense, Teo Quinten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Argi. The Iguana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Argi should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Quinten to strike the kick off in the second half. When Teo Quinten came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Central Ferroviario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Quinten couldn't finish the play. Baldomero Gartzea hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 79thth minute of the game Teo Quinten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iguana FC's Serafino Argi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iguana FC's zone, Fermin Bihar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Argi came out of the goal and Fermin Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Bihar in the 85th minute of play forced Iguana FC's goalkeeper Serafino Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Quinten in the 88th minute of the match. Central Ferroviario's Alonzo Isauro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Central Ferroviario from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Central Ferroviario booed when Iguana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Iguana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
