Pascual Darien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Giro went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 14 minutes, Arturo Firman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iguana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Firman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Giro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Pascual Darien when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aquilino Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Darien having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquilino Giro got free with Pascual Darien in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Arturo Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Cordarell hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arturo Firman in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Darien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute Arturo Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Deheza's Pascual Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Firman in the 52nd minute of play. If Aquilino Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pascual Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Firman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Belarmo got free with Serafino Argi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Firman struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pascual Darien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iguana FC. Felix Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Argi having to interfere. When Aquilino Giro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Iguana FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Giro couldn't finish the play. After 81 minutes, Robustiano Liberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iguana FC and the Deheza players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deheza booed when Iguana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Liberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Clemente Fliz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Iguana FC's Serafino Argi didn't even have to move. Celestino Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Herminio Montae fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iguana FC's protests and gave Herminio Montae a yellow card for diving instead. Aquilino Giro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute.
