Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Ospetsu started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes of play, Amapola AFC's Oscar Dimas made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Argi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 12 played minutes Iguana FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Chan. In the 16th minute Arturo Firman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Elequemedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Firman in the 17th minute of play forced Amapola AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 played minutes Iguana FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Liberto. Wilfredo Ospetsu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cayetano Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Firman in the 22nd minute of the match. If Aquilino Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Froilan Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amapola AFC's Cayetano Elequemedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Firman in the 33rd minute of play. Wilfredo Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Serafino Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Argi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Ospetsu in the 37th minute. Serafino Argi came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Amapola AFC's Oscar Dimas. But to his dismay, Oscar Dimas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Amapola AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Froilan Lizardi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Firman in the 48th minute of play forced Amapola AFC's goalkeeper Cayetano Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arturo Firman to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafino Argi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Ospetsu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oscar Dimas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Amapola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Dimas couldn't finish the play. Oscar Dimas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Elequemedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Firman in the 65th minute of play. Wilfredo Ospetsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amapola AFC's Wilfredo Ospetsu got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amapola AFC's Oscar Dimas got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilfredo Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Serafino Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Elequemedo made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Aquilino Giro sent off a good shot on target. Wilfredo Ospetsu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Argi having to make a save. When Oscar Dimas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Amapola AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Dimas couldn't finish the play. Amapola AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
