Spectators: 7156 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 100) Deportivo Resaca's Ezequiel Orkatz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Omar Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Paulo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Liebig got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Abar. Liebig's Omar Luix got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Deportivo Resaca's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Luix came free, but Paulo Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Truylos's late challenge caught a Liebig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Truylos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Resaca's Fernando Truylos got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liebig's goalkeeper Niceto Bikendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Liebig were furious when Eleuterio Firme was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 22 minutes into the game, one of Liebig:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Resaca. Mauricio Pello stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Niceto Bikendi. 1-0. Omar Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Paulo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Resaca's Ezequiel Orkatz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niceto Bikendi. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Tiburcio Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Luix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Paulo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Liebig getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Christian Bihar hit a great ball. Tobias Vincente charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Vincente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Liebig!

The wind increased when Omar Luix made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Liebig got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Papo. In the 57th minute of the match Mauricio Pello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Bikendi skillfully saved the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Liebig's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Orkatz came free, but Niceto Bikendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Liebig getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Camilo Abar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Lixandro in the 67th minute of play forced Liebig's goalkeeper Niceto Bikendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Niceto Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Luix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txeru having to interfere. Tiburcio Lixandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liebig's Niceto Bikendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Orkatz in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Omar Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 98thth minute of the game Tiburcio Lixandro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liebig's Niceto Bikendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
