Ildefonso Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Bedshaped getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fabricio Mon hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Placido Efren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erize FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Laureano Tercero came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Bedshaped fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Tercero couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Llanos got free with Paolo Arano in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Erize FC got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Ranolfo. Laureano Tercero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Arano having to interfere. Placido Efren struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ceferino Lico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erize FC. 40 minutes into the game, Erize FC's Serafino Esiquio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Lico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Tercero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Rami hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ceferino Lico, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Paolo Arano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Abeita in the 80th minute of play.
