In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Rogelio Lluterio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Abar came free, but Rogelio Lluterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's Rogelio Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Abar in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Israel Nuxila hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Liebig's Tobias Vincente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Lluterio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Liebig's goalkeeper Niceto Bikendi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Berenguer. In the 24th minute, Feliberto Fe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liebig's goalkeeper Niceto Bikendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Omar Luix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelino Tino's late challenge caught a Liebig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Tino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th match minute, ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Tino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Luix in the 37th minute of play forced ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's goalkeeper Rogelio Lluterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes, Rene Beremundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB and the Liebig players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Liebig booed when ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Beremundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Vincente struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rogelio Lluterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liebig. Maximino Errapel might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Bikendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Errapel ran back to his position shaking his head. Camilo Abar charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Abar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Camilo Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Rene Beremundo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Bikendi. Liebig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Beremundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Maximino Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Vincente made a kick off. Liebig's Niceto Bikendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Berenguer in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Arnoldo Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Errapel in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Bikendi saved Liebig from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Liebig's Feliberto Fe got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Berenguer. Feliberto Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rogelio Lluterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Vincente's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. ZARATEÑO FUTBOL CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Tobias Vincente scored to the left of an out of position Rogelio Lluterio, making the score, 1-2. If Maximino Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niceto Bikendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Berenguer went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Liebig's Omar Luix got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
