Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Deportivo Resaca's Ezequiel Orkatz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camilo Atarratze came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Resaca's Tiburcio Lixandro. But to his dismay, Tiburcio Lixandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eugenio Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Loncopué's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Gudesteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Txeru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Paulo Txeru managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Club Atlético Loncopué's Eugenio Gudesteo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Resaca's Fernando Truylos got a free kick in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atlético Loncopué's Fausto Claude tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Mauro Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Loncopué's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Orkatz came free, but Camilo Atarratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Orkatz in the 17th minute of play. Eugenio Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Paulo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Resaca booed when Club Atlético Loncopué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Jerano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Eugenio Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Loncopué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Txeru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Matias Nicholas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Nicholas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Deportivo Resaca got a freekick which was hit by Matias Nicholas. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Deportivo Resaca's Teofilo Errapel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Camilo Atarratze but with some difficulty. Tiburcio Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Txeru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Deportivo Resaca got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Chan. Fernando Truylos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Deportivo Resaca's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Ibañez came free, but Paulo Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Truylos during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Loncopué booed when Deportivo Resaca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Ibañez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paulo Txeru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Matias Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Claude succeeded in the game's 90th minute to get real power on a long shot . Deportivo Resaca's Paulo Txeru hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! Paulo Txeru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Gudesteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Loncopué had won after a very even match.
