After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Quebracho FC's zone, Eliseo Eutor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Tanio came out of the goal and Eliseo Eutor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Central Malaver's Aquiles Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Serafo in the 35th minute of play. Eriberto Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Aquiles Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Gilesindo in the 40th minute of play forced Central Malaver's goalkeeper Aquiles Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Ferrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Norberto Petrigai succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 46th playminute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Eriberto Gilesindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Fe having to interfere. Francisco Tanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Truylos in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Sportivo Quebracho FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jaime Eriz hit a great ball. If Clodoveo Ferrando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Petrigai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Tanio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Iker Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Eriberto Gilesindo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Sportivo Quebracho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Gilesindo couldn't finish the play. Aquiles Fe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Gilesindo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Central Malaver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Sabin to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
