The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 14th minute, Rigoberto Diaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Nereo Frasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Paskal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Diaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Bomba & Murra's Severiano Xabel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcial Cristos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nereo Frasco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Herminio Paskal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Aquilino Johans fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bomba & Murra's protests and gave Aquilino Johans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Aquilino Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Frasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Herminio Paskal made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, Bomba & Murra's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Diaz came free, but Herminio Paskal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Liberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marcial Cristos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Liberto in the 42nd minute of play. If Feliciano Dalmau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Diaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severiano Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Cristos having to interfere. Herminio Paskal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Frasco in the 56th minute of play. Rigoberto Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Herminio Paskal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Bomba & Murra got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Dalmau. Marcial Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Xabel in the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Liberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Cristos. Liga Aves de Bernal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Liberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Liga Aves de Bernal booed when Bomba & Murra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bomba & Murra's Herminio Paskal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Sayvion in the 78th minute of play. During the 80th minute of the match Enrique Clis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enrique Clis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Liga Aves de Bernal getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Enrique Clis hit a great ball. 82 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bomba & Murra's Leopoldo Liberto fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. With a little luck, Liga Aves de Bernal's Marcial Cristos got control of the ball when Severiano Xabel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Severiano Xabel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Liga Aves de Bernal defense, Leopoldo Liberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Cristos. The Liga Aves de Bernal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Cristos should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roque Platon during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Bomba & Murra left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Liga Aves de Bernal.
