Francisco Tanio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match, Clodoveo Ferrando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oscar Frasco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute Maximiliano Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Tanio having to interfere. Oscar Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Ferrando in the 31st minute of play forced Villa Crespo's goalkeeper Oscar Frasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Gilesindo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Frasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Clodoveo Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Frasco having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Clodoveo Ferrando could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Oscar Frasco however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eriberto Gilesindo in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Frasco saved Villa Crespo from getting behind. The Sportivo Quebracho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Villa Crespo were winning 0-1.

Clodoveo Ferrando charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Ferrando the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodoveo Ferrando hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Clodoveo Ferrando struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Oscar Frasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Quebracho FC. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Quebracho FC's Carolo Xabier got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Maximiliano Rey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Clodoveo Ferrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Eriberto Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oscar Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
