An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Norberto Petrigai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Placido Stephen's late challenge caught a Central Malaver's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Stephen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Central Malaver booed when Azcurra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Siro Truylos to make the kick off. A collision led to Azcurra AFC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jacinto Mikolas hit a great ball. In the 65th minute of the match Eliseo Eutor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Petri skillfully saved the ball. Iker Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Central Malaver's zone, Simon Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Fe came out of the goal and Simon Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Mirande hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Siro Truylos spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Azcurra AFC's goal. In the 79th match minute, Central Malaver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Filiberto Xabel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
