With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Lop in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Weterio saved River from getting behind. In the 15th minute Teo Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Weterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Mauricio Abadia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elias Weterio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elias Weterio came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilolil's Mauricio Abadia. But to his dismay, Mauricio Abadia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Victorio Xabier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Alberto Cordareo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Gaxan in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Weterio saved River from getting behind. Mauricio Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Pilolil booed when River was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Weterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teo Henric went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, River's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Lop came free, but Elias Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Nataniel charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Nataniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Nataniel to maneuver through the defense. Elias Weterio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Lop went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilfredo Baudelio to make the kick off. Teo Henric could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Elias Weterio made a huge save. Mauricio Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Elias Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Cordareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Baudelio in the 67th minute of the match. Teo Henrics short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Elias Weterio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 70th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Ofelio to maneuver through the defense. Teo Henric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elias Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pilolil's Antonio Lop got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 75 in the game by Teo Henric from a close distance when the talented Elias Weterio managed to make a qualified save. River's players were relieved. Pilolil's Alberto Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Xabier in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Lop got free with Elias Weterio in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauricio Abadia struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Elias Weterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilolil. Antonio Lop in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elias Weterio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Antonio Lop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Elias Weterio made a huge save. Mauricio Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teo Henric struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Elias Weterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilolil. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Lop got free with Elias Weterio in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pilolil played a much better game than River and deserved their victory. The River players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
