Elias Weterio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Modestio in the 13th minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, River was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Xabier to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Kaiet in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Weterio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Nazario struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Elias Weterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAF FC. 58 minutes into the match, Carmelo Kaiet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Weterio. River's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Kaiet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Carmelo Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Weterio having to interfere. The MAF FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when MAF FC's Carmelo Kaiet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to MAF FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Carmelo Kaiet hit a great ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Carmelo Kaiet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River's Elias Weterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Weterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Maximiliano Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. River's Elias Weterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Kaiet in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Clis in the 88th minute of play forced River's goalkeeper Elias Weterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Modestio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Weterio was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Ezequiel Nataniel hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Elias Weterio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Kaiet's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
