After a defensive mix-up in NEGRO F.C.'s zone, Prospero Ixona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Juvenal came out of the goal and Prospero Ixona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloy Fernado's late challenge caught a Cavanagh AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Fernado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, NEGRO F.C.'s Eloy Fernado got a free kick in the 16th minute. Prospero Ixona might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Juvenal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Ixona ran back to his position shaking his head. Rigoberto Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tobias Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cavanagh AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vladimiro Gumaro hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes Cavanagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Lauaxeta. After having played for 38 minutes, Rigoberto Castel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEGRO F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Castel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Pedroso to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cavanagh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Pedroso came free, but Tobias Claus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Claus having to interfere. Rigoberto Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Basilio Pedroso came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the NEGRO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Pedroso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Castel in the 69th minute of play forced Cavanagh AFC's goalkeeper Tobias Claus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Tabb notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cavanagh AFC's Tobias Claus. Tobias Claus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Prospero Ixona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, NEGRO F.C.'s goalkeeper Leo Juvenal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Ixona. Tobias Claus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vladimiro Gumaro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Cavanagh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Gumaro couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute of the game, Basilio Pedroso landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 100th minute there was a penalty for NEGRO F.C.. Leopoldo Maura stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tobias Claus. 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. NEGRO F.C. had won after a very even match.
