Feliciano Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everardo Perutxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tobias Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Valentin Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute of the match Roque Gaizko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Claus skillfully saved the ball. When Pablo Madeo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C's protests and gave Pablo Madeo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cavanagh AFC booed when ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saul Ederono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Quinten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Ederono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Valentin Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavanagh AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Cavanagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 54 played minutes Cavanagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Lauaxeta. Cavanagh AFC's Tobias Claus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Perutxo in the 55th minute of play. Tobias Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Prospero Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Cavanagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Lopes. After 64 played minutes Cavanagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Gumaro. Everardo Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Claus having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Feliciano Rayman managed to get in a good position for a shot. ATLETICO GEVIEJAS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Rayman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Claus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Claus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Perutxo in the 87th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cavanagh AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
