In the 16th minute Generoso Fernado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Arlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Constanza AFC's Elvio Canor made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylwester Tarasek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Primates's goal looked a bit too open when Elvio Canor came free, but Sylwester Tarasek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Harrie Potter almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Constanza AFC's Erubiel Arlo did a great save. Roque Olo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Primates's Generoso Fernado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erubiel Arlo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erubiel Arlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Fernado in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Constanza AFC's zone, Alfonso Gasteiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erubiel Arlo came out of the goal and Alfonso Gasteiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Fernado got in the 47th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Erubiel Arlo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Leo Quinton's late challenge caught a Primates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Quinton helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvio Canor made a kick off. Generoso Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Constanza AFC's Erubiel Arlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Fernado in the 90th minute of play. Erubiel Arlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Fernado's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Erubiel Arlo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Fernado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Fernado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
