Spectators: 6685 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 22) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Anacleto Maldonado kicked off to start the match. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Enzo Quinten got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 11 played minutes Cavanagh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Lopes. Valentin Lopes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Enzo Quinten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eleuterio Marin having to make a save. 18 minutes into the game, Cavanagh AFC's Prospero Ixona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Marin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Prospero Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eleuterio Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Quinten struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Eleuterio Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cavanagh AFC. In the 33rd match minute, Cavanagh AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Ordono to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tobias Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cavanagh AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vladimiro Gumaro hit a great ball. Anacleto Maldonado scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Claus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enzo Quinten to make the kick off. Anacleto Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Ixona in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Marin saved Sijes from getting behind. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sijes's goalkeeper Eleuterio Marin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustavo Blasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tobias Claus made a huge save. Julian Paul's late challenge caught a Cavanagh AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Paul helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sijes's Joaquin Dayam got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Amadeo Quinteros sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sijes's Eleuterio Marin didn't even have to move. Eleuterio Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Ixona in the 97th minute of play. Sijes were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Cavanagh AFC's much stronger midfield.
