He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chala Técnica F.C. reached it. In the 24th minute, Julian Aresti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Jaime Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonides Gartzen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mateo Lluterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Mirande's late challenge caught a Calafate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Mirande helped the player get up and apologised. Tobias Enetz struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cirilo Loiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calafate. If Lorenzo Corderro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Gartzen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calafate's Mateo Lluterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Gartzen in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Leonides Gartzen notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Calafate's Mateo Lluterio. Mateo Lluterio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 58 played minutes Calafate got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Nel. If Leonides Gartzen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Julian Aresti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With splendid footwork Tobias Enetz arrived in front of goal to shoot 2-1 by the left pole in the game's 65th minute. Chala Técnica F.C.'s Cirilo Loiola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Chala Técnica F.C. from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Corderro might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cirilo Loiola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Corderro ran back to his position shaking his head. Julian Aresti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobias Enetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cirilo Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Enetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. In the 85th match minute, Chala Técnica F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Medina to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Corderro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Cirilo Loiola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
