After 3 played minutes Quetan FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Terciero. 6 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Millano came free, but Cristian Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Miguel Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Unai in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Manuel Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Miguel Oliverio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristian Balendin. In the 47th minute Adolfo Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Oliverio to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Evelio Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Estrella Roja's Cristian Balendin got control of the ball when Adolfo Terciero tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Adolfo Terciero came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Quetan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Terciero couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Terciero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cristian Balendin made a huge save. 67 minutes in the game, Miguel Oliverio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cristian Balendin having to interfere. Anastasio Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Unai in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Unai in the 93rd minute of play forced Quetan FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Suero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
