After a rather tough play, Chala Técnica F.C.'s Mario Medina got a free kick in the 6th minute. Julian Aresti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marco Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victoriano Piorno hit a great ball. The supporters of Deportivo Emilia - Fausto booed when Chala Técnica F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 minutes Chala Técnica F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristobal Astrada who took care of the corner kick. If Severo Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Leonides Gartzen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marco Cefero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Cordairo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 61 minutes, Omar Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Emilia - Fausto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute of the match Chala Técnica F.C. got a corner. Deportivo Emilia - Fausto's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
