Spectators: 6462 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reynaldo Ponciano started the match with the kick off. The Vinará fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Vinará's Erubiel Teodor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute, Benigno Erdiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mariano Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Baleren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Teodor's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Ambrosio Jacindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Ponciano in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, River Plate Villa Maria's Isaac Frutos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isaac Frutos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of River Plate Villa Maria protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Isaac Frutos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute, one of River Plate Villa Maria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for River Plate Villa Maria. Erubiel Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Baleren having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate Villa Maria's zone, Mariano Iturri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Baleren came out of the goal and Mariano Iturri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Baleren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Hludzenski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Dalmacio Quirce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ambrosio Jacindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Mariano Iturri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Baleren having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Mariano Iturri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vinará fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Erubiel Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the match, River Plate Villa Maria's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Teodor came free, but Apolo Baleren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Teodor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Vinará were awarded a corner. Anestis Dimakoglou went to the cornerflag to take it. Vinará's Anestis Dimakoglou was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Apolo Baleren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Apolo Baleren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Iturri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to River Plate Villa Maria getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ermegildo Dominix hit a great ball. Erubiel Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Baleren having to interfere. Jacobo Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Iturri in the 60th minute of play forced River Plate Villa Maria's goalkeeper Apolo Baleren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Teofilo Abastas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Iturri hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Fabian Hludzenski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Baleren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Erubiel Teodor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Baleren. River Plate Villa Maria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Teodor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0.
