Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 110) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isaac Quiroga made the kick off which started today's match. Ruben Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Quexal having to interfere. If Erasmo Iago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruben Ugutz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Pozuelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Ugutz couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, Vampires Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Pancho to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Mario Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Jokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Frisco in the 20th minute of the match. Erasmo Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Ruben Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Iago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mario Quexal was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Erasmo Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Iago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Vampires Soccer Club's Mario Quexal got control of the ball when Ruben Ugutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th minute of the match, Ruben Ugutz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mario Quexal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 48 minutes into the game, Luisito Baumar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vampires Soccer Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozuelos the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Pozuelos's Edgard Veremundo tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Erasmo Iago made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Vampires Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Ugutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mario Quexal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Erasmo Iago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Quexal. Vampires Soccer Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erasmo Iago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Erasmo Iago took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Quexal. Mario Quexal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Isaac Quiroga might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Jokin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Quiroga ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Ugutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Erasmo Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pozuelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Iago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Quexal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Ruben Ugutz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pozuelos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
