Paulino Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Teodor in the 12th minute of the match. Ambrosio Jacindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Anestis Dimakoglou fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinará's protests and gave Anestis Dimakoglou a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Vinará was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anestis Dimakoglou to maneuver through the defense. Vinará's Mariano Iturri got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Erubiel Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Teodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Erubiel Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Vinará were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Pelayo was the one to do the kick off. Erubiel Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JoMan Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Erubiel Teodor scored to the left of an out of position Paulino Sandaili, making the score, 1-3. In the 82nd minute, Mariano Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Anestis Dimakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Peruanton was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 97 minutes into the match, Vinará's Mariano Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Sandaili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vinará's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
