Prudencio Francesco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Francesco in the 7th minute of the match. If Prudencio Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Lucian struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Amadeo Poz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mar Muerto F.C.. Amadeo Poz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Lucian, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Prudencio Francesco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amadeo Poz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Quilumpa AFC's Amadeo Txindoki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Amadeo Txindoki came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Quilumpa AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Txindoki couldn't finish the play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Prudencio Francesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilumpa AFC's Amadeo Poz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hector Cloyo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Osoro came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Cloyo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 35th minute. Honorio Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Amadeo Poz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Mar Muerto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hector Cloyo came free, but Manuel Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Cleto Clementi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mar Muerto F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilumpa AFC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Mar Muerto F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Clementi. Amadeo Txindoki came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manuel Osoro could save by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Gaspar Telo's late challenge caught a Mar Muerto F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Telo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quilumpa AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gaspar Telo hit a great ball. Manuel Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Cloyo in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mar Muerto F.C.'s zone, Amadeo Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Osoro came out of the goal and Amadeo Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Cloyo in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Mar Muerto F.C. getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jonas Uhin hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Mar Muerto F.C. got a corner. Quilumpa AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Severo Gabrio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mar Muerto F.C.'s Severo Gabrio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amadeo Poz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Mar Muerto F.C. booed when Quilumpa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quilumpa AFC's Amadeo Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Francesco in the 83rd minute of play. Manuel Osoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Txindoki in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Mar Muerto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hector Cloyo came free, but Manuel Osoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Osoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilumpa AFC. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
