Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jose Cambranes made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Marayes AFC's Jose Cambranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Chayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santamarina's Santiago Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Bernal in the 13th minute of play. Jose Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Santiago Chayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Silvestre Tomi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marayes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santamarina the free kick. After 19 played minutes Marayes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Tomi. In the 20th minute, Lázaro Frances sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Marayes AFC's Filomeno Rayman didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Marayes AFC's Filomeno Rayman got control of the ball when Isaias Isaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jose Cambranes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santiago Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Jose Cambranes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santamarina's Santiago Chayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Santamarina getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Saul Guipuzkoa hit a great ball. Santiago Chayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Saul Guipuzkoa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santamarina's protests and gave Saul Guipuzkoa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Saul Guipuzkoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Aurken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bernal in the 51st minute of play. Marayes AFC's Filomeno Rayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Isaio in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Marayes AFC's zone, Isaias Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Rayman came out of the goal and Isaias Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgard Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Filomeno Rayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santamarina's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jose Cambranes 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 75th minute Isaias Isaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Rayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Justino Txaran. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Cambranes in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Chayo saved Santamarina from getting behind. After having played for 82 minutes, Isaias Isaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santamarina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Isaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Rayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Isaio in the 84th minute of play. Filomeno Rayman came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Santamarina's Edgard Aurken. But to his dismay, Edgard Aurken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Saul Guipuzkoa hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jose Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Chayo having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
