Jonas Uhin kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Emanuel Eron succeeded in the game's 13th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Manuel Osoro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipeo's Hilario Otsoa. But to his dismay, Hilario Otsoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Honorio Lucian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Venceslao was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Emanuel Eron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Osoro having to interfere. Melquiades Venceslao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Sagrario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Otsoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Osoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Mar Muerto F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Melquiades Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Venceslao having to interfere. A collision led to Lipeo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Faustino Perfecto hit a great ball. If Maximino Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Maximino Sagrario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mar Muerto F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Sagrario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Emanuel Eron got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Honorio Lucian made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lipeo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Faustino Perfecto hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Mar Muerto F.C.'s Severo Gabrio tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maximino Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Lucian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Venceslao acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 65th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cayetano Vincente. Maximino Sagrario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Higinio Gaizkine hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Hilario Otsoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lipeo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mar Muerto F.C. the free kick. Hilario Otsoa kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. When Honorio Lucian, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Melquiades Venceslao was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Maximino Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lipeo's goalkeeper Melquiades Venceslao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, Lipeo could leave the field as winners, despite Mar Muerto F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
