With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Quiroga in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Rayman saved Marayes AFC from getting behind. Filomeno Rayman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Soldevilla were awarded a corner. Rolando Arotza went to the cornerflag to take it. Marayes AFC's Filomeno Rayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Quiroga in the 29th minute of play. Mariano Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Cambranes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Soldevilla's Mariano Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Cambranes in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Cambranes in the 40th minute of play forced Soldevilla's goalkeeper Mariano Afonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliseo Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. Mariano Afonso made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Martin Bernal sent off a good shot on target. Bonifacio Leizarraga lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marayes AFC! After a defensive mix-up in Marayes AFC's zone, Celedonio Chepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Rayman came out of the goal and Celedonio Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eliseo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soldevilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Rayman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celedonio Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Cortez's late challenge caught a Marayes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Cortez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Soldevilla's Esteban Cortez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Martin Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Celedonio Chepe came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Soldevilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Chepe couldn't finish the play. Martin Bernal took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Afonso. Mariano Afonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Martin Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mariano Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
