Leonardo Mero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Danilo Primo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ismael Berart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Primo having to interfere. In the 56th minute Ismael Berart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo AFC's zone, Delmar Sendoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Quintyn came out of the goal and Delmar Sendoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, Caleufú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. Espinillo AFC's Ismael Berart got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72ndth minute of the game Ismael Berart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caleufú FC's Danilo Primo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Espinillo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Baleren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With an all-out effort, Espinillo AFC's Danilo Primo threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angel Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caleufú FC had won after a very even match.
