The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Sendoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Caleufú FC's zone, Robustiano Rio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Primo came out of the goal and Robustiano Rio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hermengildo Iruinea fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caleufú FC's protests and gave Hermengildo Iruinea a yellow card for diving instead. Hermengildo Iruinea hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Efrain Cayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Rio in the 64th minute of play forced Caleufú FC's goalkeeper Danilo Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Primo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Rio in the 66th minute of play. Efrain Cayo took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Primo. Danilo Primo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 74th minute Efrain Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Delmar Sendoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caleufú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmar Sendoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Maule breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Caleufú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Cayo came free, but Danilo Primo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Rio scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Primo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Delmar Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Crespo's Baldomero Ignatius got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Hector Nahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caleufú FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Crespo.
