Ahmet Refik Ayçetin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Kusko in the 5th minute. Ubaldo Kusko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ahmet Refik Ayçetin made a huge save. The supporters of FC Martin booed when Euskadi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Freddy Tolino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Euskadi's Leon Frances was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Euskadi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Guaberto Mero hit a great ball. Ahmet Refik Ayçetin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Stanislao, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Stanislao dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ahmet Refik Ayçetin, 1-0. Ubaldo Kusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Refik Ayçetin having to interfere. Through a series of nice moves, Euskadi's Anacleto Oton on his own came free in the 36th minute of the match and shot 2-0 behind a disappointed Ahmet Refik Ayçetin. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Stanislao to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Euskadi booed when FC Martin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Anacleto Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Refik Ayçetin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Martin's Ahmet Refik Ayçetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Kusko in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to FC Martin getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cristobal Llope hit a great ball. Ahmet Refik Ayçetin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Euskadi's Anacleto Oton. But to his dismay, Anacleto Oton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 70th match minute, FC Martin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Baleren to maneuver through the defense. When Florentino Baleren fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Martin's protests and gave Florentino Baleren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, FC Martin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. FC Martin's Ahmet Refik Ayçetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Avellaneda in the 77th minute of play. Leon Frances didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Martin's Freddy Tolino shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Anacleto Oton took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Refik Ayçetin. Ahmet Refik Ayçetin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After 91 minutes, Victoriano Bastian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Martin and the Euskadi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victoriano Bastian kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Anacleto Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Refik Ayçetin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Euskadi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
