Spectators: 7082 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ismael Berart got the match started through his kick off. Santiago Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Mero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Cosme Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heavy's Amadeo Koldobika got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Ismael Berart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heavy's Santiago Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonardo Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Navarro having to interfere. Ismael Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Quintyn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Heavy booed when Espinillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Heavy's Cosme Quinteros in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espinillo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Espinillo AFC's Daniel Quintyn got control of the ball when Carmelo Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cosme Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Quinteros struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Daniel Quintyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavy. Carmelo Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosme Quinteros was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Quintyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Quinteros in the 54th minute of the match. If Leonardo Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Berart in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santiago Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 60 minutes, Cosme Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heavy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Quinteros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Espinillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Quinteros came free, but Daniel Quintyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espinillo AFC's Leonardo Mero got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Theobald hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Carmelo Martinez might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Quintyn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Martinez ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 minutes, Narciso Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavy and the Espinillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Heavy getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Narciso Sugoi hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ismael Berart dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Santiago Navarro, 0-1. When Cosme Quinteros came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Heavy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme Quinteros couldn't finish the play. Amador Benino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Santiago Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Espinillo AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
