In the 24th minute Cornelio Osorio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Maximo Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Albano Abalos might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Mino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Alonzo Maldonado made the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Maldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislao Bordat having to interfere. Ladislao Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Maldonado in the 58th minute of the match. Alonzo Maldonado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Alonzo Maldonado made a precise shot to the right of Ladislao Bordat. Bleugrana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 69th minute, Alonzo Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Salvator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Marcial Mino made a huge save. 72 minutes into the game, Delmar Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Backyardigans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bleugrana the free kick. Delmar Cruz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Severo Salvator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Marcial Mino made a huge save. After having played for 88 minutes, Severo Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bleugrana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Salvator was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sportivo Backyardigans's Marcial Mino got control of the ball when Severo Salvator tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Cecilio Txomin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Alonzo Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sportivo Backyardigans's Marcial Mino got control of the ball when Severo Salvator tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sportivo Backyardigans had won after a very even match.
