In the 8th minute of the match, Eusebio Clemencin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leonides Nuxila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Mar del Plata Club Sports booed when Heavy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Jeremias Gartzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Eriberto Igon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Santiago Porfirio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mar del Plata Club Sports's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Porfirio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremias Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Mar del Plata Club Sports's Damian Mero got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Gartzi got free with Eriberto Igon in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jesus Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Eriberto Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Porfirio, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Eriberto Igon made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jeremias Gartzi sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Mar del Plata Club Sports left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Heavy.
