But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Merexildo couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Celedonio Barto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Pelagius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Merexildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Iker Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, bayern munich's Paolo Frasquito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidoro Pelagius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 29 minutes, Jeremias Reynardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. Isidoro Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Prejun in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, bayern munich's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Guerau came free, but Iker Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristian Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Merexildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Serafin Guerau rounded bayern munich's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cristian Merexildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manantiales's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Merexildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Quinten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celedonio Barto made a kick off. Jeremias Reynardo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 53 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, one of Manantiales:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave bayern munich a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bonifacio Gartxot, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manantiales's Isidoro Pelagius. 1-2. Isidoro Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Barto in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of bayern munich booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Quinten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manantiales's Isidoro Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Barto in the 70th minute of play. Serafin Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Iker Quinten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Nunez Mirande fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored bayern munich's protests and gave Nunez Mirande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, bayern munich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Mirande to maneuver through the defense. Manantiales's Isidoro Pelagius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Manantiales from getting a goal against them. Eloy Aresti charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Isidoro Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Mirande, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Cristian Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played with Manantiales's defense Bonifacio Gartxot in the 92nd minute fired away a shot at goal just outside the top left corner. A bit more spin and it would have been a certain goal. In the 92nd minute of the match, Bonifacio Gartxot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isidoro Pelagius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 97 minutes into the game, Paolo Frasquito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Isidoro Pelagius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched bayern munich eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
