Joel Abilio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Cedro's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. A collision led to Los Tira piedras getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Amancio Egun hit a great ball. After 25 played minutes, Mezh Team's Leonides Hats shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Abilio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mezh Team reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Bernard during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Los Tira piedras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Marcu Răducan's late challenge caught a Los Tira piedras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcu Răducan helped the player get up and apologised. Marcu Răducan hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 43rdth minute of the game Leonides Hats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Tira piedras's Joel Abilio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Mezh Team booed when Los Tira piedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The Los Tira piedras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joel Abilio should have stopped the shot. In the 82ndth minute of the game Gaston Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Tira piedras's Joel Abilio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
