Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiburcio Cucao kicked off to start the match. Gilberto Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vladimiro Donio fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Vladimiro Donio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Donio to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Melchor Jakue sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Erdiano skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jacinto Avellaneda hit a great ball. If Gilberto Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Rodrigo Handi sped through Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Saverio Erdiano. The supporters of Talleres booed when Potrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Potrero FC's Adrian Stephen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Sendoa in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Erdiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Potrero FC booed when Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Erdiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimiro Donio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Handi made a kick off. Carolo Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Arturo Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Carolo Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Potrero FC's Rodrigo Handi in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talleres's goalie prevented a goal. Gilberto Sendoa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Saverio Erdiano made a huge save. Potrero FC's Carolo Birila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Avellaneda in the 64th minute of play. When Domingos Belmiro fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres's protests and gave Domingos Belmiro a yellow card for diving instead. Rodrigo Handi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Saverio Erdiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrero FC. Carolo Birila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Avellaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jacinto Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Birila having to interfere. Gilberto Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
