Cirilo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Ekialde in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes FC's Astor Brais got a free kick in the 17th minute. But to his dismay, Julio Cruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermengildo Aguilera to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Gartzea in the 51st minute of play forced Estudiantes FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Kauan de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scylla G.C.E fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. The Estudiantes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Geleberto should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute Petruț Cucerzan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, Scylla G.C.E's Julio Cruz made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Geleberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Scylla G.C.E's Julio Cruz in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
