In the 30th minute, Monasterio AFC's Nereo Buinton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agustin Aurre. Agustin Aurre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Nereo Buinton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agustin Aurre came out and tried to block the shot, but Nereo Buinton slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Monasterio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Gilen came free, but Dario Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Machado in the 47th minute of play forced Monasterio AFC's goalkeeper Dario Lop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nereo Buinton made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Machado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The coaching staff of Monasterio AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicanor Inge had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Monasterio AFC's Nicanor Inge got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute, Emanuel Faron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Lop. The goal made the score 2-6.
