Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5504, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 65) River FC's Anibal Soin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Artemio Marz came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the River FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Marz couldn't finish the play. After 5 played minutes Carrizal got a freekick which was hit by Joel Ciceron. Hermengildo Pero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Marz in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Isidor in the 14th minute of play forced Carrizal's goalkeeper Hermengildo Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Carrizal's goalkeeper Hermengildo Pero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Isidor. Filiberto Xabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hermengildo Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Chesus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrizal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River FC the free kick. The supporters of River FC booed when Carrizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Jeraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Joel Ciceron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrizal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Marz in the 34th minute of play forced Carrizal's goalkeeper Hermengildo Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Carrizal's Laureano Jeraldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Joel Ciceron left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrizal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Soin got free with Hermengildo Pero in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Joel Ciceron made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Carrizal booed when River FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Liher didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 minutes, Edelmiro Calvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrizal and the River FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, River FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Liher to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 54 minutes, Laureano Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice moves Laureano Jeraldo could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Rolando Erauso however easily saved by the left post. In the 63rd minute Joel Ciceron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Ciceron was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 67 minutes into the match, River FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ciceron came free, but Rolando Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Erauso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Carrizal's Ambrosio Gregory got a free kick in the 71st minute. Hermengildo Pero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Ekhi in the 73rd minute of play. After 79 played minutes Carrizal got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Chesus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Isidor in the 86th minute of play forced Carrizal's goalkeeper Hermengildo Pero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Jeraldo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Rolando Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carrizal. Joel Ciceron's late challenge caught a River FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. Carrizal's Hermengildo Pero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Xabier in the 94th minute of play. The Carrizal players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
