River FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Emanuel Isidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vagues the free kick. In the 31st match minute, River FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Isidor to maneuver through the defense. Clodoveo Horado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Millano in the 33rd minute of play. Vagues's Vicente Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Isidor in the 34th minute of play. Rolando Erauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Horado went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Guillermo Furman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute, Vagues's Cecilio Quirze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolando Erauso. Rolando Erauso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jeronimo Mendez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolando Erauso. River FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clodoveo Horado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute.
