Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teobaldo Derwin kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Vagues booed when Ciudacita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Millano, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Claudio Dino fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudacita AFC's protests and gave Claudio Dino a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Ciudacita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Dino. Ciudacita AFC's Abelardo Oier got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Abelardo Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciudacita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Oier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cecilio Quirze fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vagues's protests and gave Cecilio Quirze a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Vagues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Quirze to maneuver through the defense. When Abelardo Oier came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ciudacita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Oier couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Abelardo Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Derwin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vagues's Vicente Dalmai. Vicente Dalmai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeronimo Mendez's late challenge caught a Ciudacita AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeronimo Mendez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Jeronimo Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Abelardo Oier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Dalmai. Abelardo Oier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Cecilio Quirze got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Miguel Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Clodoveo Horado might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over German Txatxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Horado ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 96 minutes, Epifanio Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vagues's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th match minute, Ciudacita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Maria to maneuver through the defense. The Vagues supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ciudacita AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ciudacita AFC.
