Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Montae in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Quinteros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Freddy Refugio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anacleto Acuña. The goal made the score 1-0. Saverio Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saverio Lalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anacleto Acuña having to make a save. Rafael Patrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rafael Patrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Florinio kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Freddy Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balcosna FC's Enrique Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Saverio Lalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Freddy Refugio made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Lalla in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Acuña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hermengildo Silviano tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Anacleto Acuña. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 52nd minute. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Rafael Patrido sped through Luro's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Quinteros. In the 61st minute, Arsenio George hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Patrido struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Juan Quinteros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcosna FC. After 69 played minutes Balcosna FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Javiar. When Freddy Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Refugio couldn't finish the play. German Tabor hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Patrido got free with Juan Quinteros in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 played minutes Luro got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Gaufred. Juan Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Luro getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Filomeno Cuartio hit a great ball. Anacleto Acuña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Lalla in the 81st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Refugio in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Acuña saved Balcosna FC from getting behind. Saverio Lalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Anacleto Acuña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Saverio Lalla notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Balcosna FC's Anacleto Acuña. Anacleto Acuña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Balcosna FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
