Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilberto Cresencio got the match started through his kick off. River FC's Artemio Marz got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Anibal Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot. River FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Soin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Tallia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victoriano Pabla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Victoriano Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute, Filiberto Xabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Roman y Gero FC's zone, Anibal Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Tallia came out of the goal and Anibal Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Ismael Libertad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Cresencio during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Roman y Gero FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gilberto Cresencio hit a great ball. Artemio Marz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Tallia having to make a save. Gilberto Cresencio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Rolando Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roman y Gero FC. Victoriano Pabla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rolando Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Matias Rivas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rolando Erauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the game, Gualterio Policarpio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roman y Gero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River FC the free kick. The referee gave River FC a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cipriano Ekhi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Roman y Gero FC's Mauricio Tallia. 2-1. Rolando Erauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Cresencio's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in River FC's zone, Gilberto Cresencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Erauso came out of the goal and Gilberto Cresencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anibal Soin was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Cresencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Soin in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Tallia saved Roman y Gero FC from getting behind. Roman y Gero FC's Gilberto Cresencio got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, River FC's Cipriano Ekhi got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Ignacio Mannie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Erauso skillfully saved the ball. 66 minutes into the match, River FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Cresencio came free, but Rolando Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of River FC booed when Roman y Gero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anibal Soin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of River FC booed when Roman y Gero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Chico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Ekhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Gilberto Cresencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Rolando Erauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Milian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roman y Gero FC the free kick. In the 80th match minute, River FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Milian to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Victoriano Pabla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Erauso. River FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Pabla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Artemio Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. River FC's Rolando Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Pabla in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of River FC booed when Roman y Gero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman y Gero FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
