After 26 played minutes, Mariño AFC's Gualterio Llin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcial Salvidor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mariño AFC reached it. Damian Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ledesma booed when Mariño AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Ixidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nemesio Ugutz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Rufio went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Ledesma's Baldomiro Rufio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nemesio Ugutz. Nemesio Ugutz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Nemesio Ugutz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Rufio's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Ledesma's Baldomiro Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ledesma's Marcial Salvidor got control of the ball when Narciso Porfirio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 minutes, Baldomiro Rufio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ledesma and the Mariño AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Mariño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Bautista. Ledesma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Narciso Porfirio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Ledesma's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Americo Sol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 94th minute of the match Ariel Damario completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ariel Damario a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Ledesma's Ariel Damario got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ledesma's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
