Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ildefonso Mateus started the match with the kick off. Silvio Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Benicio Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Jaizki in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Jaizki in the 13th minute of play forced Puerta de hierro FC's goalkeeper Benicio Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Osmundo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Cristian Romelio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Romelio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 19th minute of the game Rigoberto Rufio made a throw-in which Aureliano Figueroa played forward. Aurelio Jaizki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Orland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Tulio having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Puerta de hierro FC's Amadeo Salamon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laureano Osmundo. Laureano Osmundo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Jaizki in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Tulio saved Puerta de hierro FC from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Baldomiro Pueblo in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tobantirenda's Aureliano Figueroa. In the 37th minute, Alfonso Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th match minute, Puerta de hierro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Romelio to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Figueroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laureano Osmundo made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ildefonso Mateus sent off a good shot on target. Laureano Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Salamon, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. If Jesus Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After having played for 68 minutes, Ildefonso Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puerta de hierro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Mateus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Salamon in the 70th minute of play. Tobantirenda's Laureano Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Mateus in the 79th minute of play. Laureano Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Romelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobantirenda were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Puerta de hierro FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aureliano Orlandus took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rigoberto Rufio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 95 minutes, Cristian Romelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puerta de hierro FC and the Tobantirenda players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Romelio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Puerta de hierro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
