Spectators: 7423 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 100) Millonarios's Flavio Phelipe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Aresti in the 3rd minute of play forced Guardamonte's goalkeeper Humberto Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Aresti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Humberto Hanot. The goal made the score 2-0. After 22 played minutes Guardamonte got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Walme. 25 minutes into the match, Augusto Froila dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Hanot, 3-0. The supporters of Millonarios booed when Guardamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Hanot made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Flavio Phelipe sent off a good shot on target. When Flavio Phelipe came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Millonarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Phelipe couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Guardamonte defense, Jonathan Aresti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Hanot. The Guardamonte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Hanot should have stopped the shot. Tomás Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Hanot having to interfere. When Flavio Phelipe came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Millonarios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Phelipe couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Humberto Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Flavio Phelipe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Humberto Hanot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Guardamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Ixona to maneuver through the defense. After 76th play minutes Flavio Phelipe shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Humberto Hanot and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 82nd minute, Jonathan Aresti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millonarios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Flavio Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the Millonarios players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
