Emilio Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustacio Socorro in the 26th minute of the match. Angelino Maiorga's late challenge caught a Guardamonte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Maiorga helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Socorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Inocente in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Placido Inocente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Hanot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eustacio Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Bernaldo having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Alpasinche's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Socorro came free, but Emilio Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guardamonte's Eustacio Socorro got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Hanot stood somewhat misplaced when Placido Inocente came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 55 minute. If Eustacio Socorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes, Guardamonte's Teofilo Hitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Bernaldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guardamonte reached it. Emilio Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Socorro in the 69th minute of play. Eustacio Socorro took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Bernaldo. Emilio Bernaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Eustacio Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 94th match minute, Alpasinche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Gumaro to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Bernaldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Socorro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
