The supporters of Carlitos Team booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Malvinas's Angelino Abaunza threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Damian Chesus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Higinio Ostots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Kimetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Americo Tome fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a rather tough play, Malvinas's Pablo Ospin got a free kick in the 34th minute. Angelino Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Damian Chesus came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Malvinas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Chesus couldn't finish the play. If Americo Tome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Onbera was the one to do the kick off. Malvinas's Higinio Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Onbera in the 64th minute of play. Angelino Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Chesus in the 67th minute of the match. Uriel Manex charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Manex the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelino Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Abaunza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Tome went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Filiberto Napier hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Americo Tome cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Angelino Abaunza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Malvinas had won after a very even match.
