He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Famaillá AFC reached it. Cornelio Asiers short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Santiago Bilintx to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. dynamo's Matias Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Bidari in the 22nd minute of play. If Cornelio Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nereo Senon fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Famaillá AFC's protests and gave Nereo Senon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Nereo Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Melchor Firme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes dynamo got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Ponc. Matias Rufio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Bidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
