Alvaro Araoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rogelio Bihar made a huge save. If Nicasio Efren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Talita getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Silvestre Telo hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Nicasio Efren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the game, Saturnino Hernando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.I.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talita the free kick. In the 51st minute, Saturnino Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. C.A.I.'s Fabricio Asteri got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute Agustin Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Bihar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Domingo Goito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvestre Telo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, C.A.I. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Innocenzio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Oihan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Bihar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th match minute, Talita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Hibai to maneuver through the defense. In the 72ndth minute Fabricio Asteri beautifully dribbled past Talita's defense and it looked for a moment as a certain goal, but Domingo Goito pulled off a phantom save to prevent the ball from scoring on his left hand side. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talita's goalkeeper Domingo Goito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Araoz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Bihar saved C.A.I. from getting behind. Rogelio Bihar came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Talita's Alvaro Araoz. But to his dismay, Alvaro Araoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 82 minutes into the match, C.A.I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Ospetsu came free, but Rogelio Bihar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Talita's Alvaro Araoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Bihar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Rogelio Bihar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Stanislao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Domingo Goito made a huge save. C.A.I.'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Talita had won, even though C.A.I. had held more of the ball.
